How to Know Jesus Christ

• Everyone is a sinner---there are no exceptions. The Bible says... "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
• The consequences for our sin is death, meaning, separation from God for eternity. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23) That is the bad news.
• The Good news... God loves us sinners so much that He gave His son to die for our sins. "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
• It is mind blowing, that we can know God and have a personal relationship with Him. But, in order for that to happen you must... 
  • Admit that you are a sinner
  • Believe that Christ died in order the pay the penalty for your sins and on the     third day He was resurrected in order that you might have eternal life. 
  • Confess Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord of your life.  
• "If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him form the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
• This is God's promise to you that if you accept Jesus as Lord, He will accept you. "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13)
• Call upon the Lord now as you pray this prayer:

Dear God, I know I have sinned by breaking Your laws. And I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died for my sins. I want to be born again and receive new life in Him. I will follow Jesus as my Lord and obey Him in all that I do. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
